I haven’t had time to do much lately except work, eat, and sleep… repeat. I’ve been so busy with work since the end of July that I can’t even remember when I last wrote a blog post here.

This week, I finally took a week off to relax and catch up on personal stuff — which, to be honest, didn’t go as planned. hehe.

Anyway, I turned 29 two weeks ago! I didn’t throw a big party, but I did have lunch and dinner with some of my close friends. To celebrate a new year of my life, I decided to quit my job earlier this month. I was tired of the same office routine and wanted to pursue my dream career and go back to university.

Right now, I have two freelance jobs. One started about two months ago, and another will begin in September. University doesn’t start until November, so I have a few months to get ready and adjust to a new routine.

As a little birthday treat to myself, I bought a new phone — nothing fancy, though. I realized how much I still love the Windows Phone platform, so I decided to go back to it. (I’ll write another blog post about it soon, promise!)

I also started using a smaller bag so my shoulders and back can finally rest a bit. I’m getting older, so I should take better care of my health, right? I found a really nice bag on Zalora that I like a lot. It’s not too big or too small, and I love that my raincoat can fit inside, so I don’t have to carry another small bag. The price was reasonable, and the quality is better than I expected.

If you’re curious, you can check out Zalora’s collection here:

It was a simple but lovely birthday — brunch with close friends, good food, and some time with my best friend’s adorable cats.
